Profile of the Ministry: Vision and Mission of Praise Centre Ministries Inc

The Ministry started formally on the 17 th of July, 1994 in Owerri in Imo State of Nigeria in fulfillment of God’s vision to His servant Pastor Stafford S.Nwaogu who now is the Presiding Bishop of the Ministry. The Ministry thereafter was officially incorporated in 1995.The Lord’s Mandate to the Presiding Bishop which is the vision of the Ministry is to “Raise up men, women and youths He (God) will be proud of as He was proud of Job” (Job1:8).And this vision was further broken down into Five Mission statements:

a) To reach the unreached in Love and in the Power of the Holy Spirit:
b) To have fellowship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit through the Word, Praise and Prayer.
c) Sound teaching of the word of God and its applications;
d) Sincere caring for members, Spiritually,emotionally and materially as the Lord strengthens us;
e) Building a solid godly foundation for the Christian family.
The church has grown from 40 members to over 5,000 with various branches in Amakohia,PortHarcourt,Ihitte Uboma,Orji,Emekuku,World Bank,Amatta,Orji, Guinea Conakry,Monrovia Liberia,Orji and Mgbidi.We now have a branch in the USA .

The Praise Tehological Institute

THE PRAISE THEOLOGICAL INSTITUTE

The Praise Theological Institute formerly known as Praise Center School of Ministry was established in 2000 by Rt.Rev.Stafford S.Nwaogu, the Presiding Bishop of Praise Center Ministries.

This Theological institute came into being owing to the scarcity of able and willing Pastors in the Ministry on one hand as well as the need for training both Ministers and non-Pastors on the other hand. It has Rev.Charles Anyanwu as its principal and runs programmes on both certificate and Diploma certificates.

The following are the objectives of Praise Theological Institute:

1. To train men and women in order that they could fill their places and also play their role in the church and the society.

2. To enable them desire for spirituality by seeking further knowledge of God and

3. To give students such ministerial training that will equip them to be ministers who will not be ashamed, and rightly dividing the word of truth.

ORDINATION AND CONSECRATION

The Ordination of Rt.Rev Stafford S.Nwaogu as the General Superintendent of the Ministry took place on October14th, 1995.He was also consecrated a Bishop by the International Leadership Conference of Ministers(ILCOM)and the International College of Charismatic Bishops (ICCB)on the 17th of August, 2002.
