LET YOUR SEAT NOT BE EMPTY

In Ezekiel 28:2 “Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyre, thus said the Lord God; Behold thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as heart of God”. The above Scripture shows that God has a seat. That’s why the Bible says, “Jesus is seated at the right hand of God”. It was Satan that entered into the king of Tyre and exalted himself and said that he is a God and he will sit in the seat of God. No one is permitted to sit on the seat of God. So how can God allow such a person to sit on His seat?. However, God does not permit you to lose your seat.

In Rev. 2:13 the Bible says, “I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is; and thou holdest fast my name and hast not denied my faith, even in those days where in Antipas was my faithful martyr who was slain among you where Satan dwelleth”. Satan also has a seat and he moves his seat to places when he is threatened. There was a time the seat of Satan was in Babylon; there was a time Satan lifted that seat from Babylon and went to Egypt and Egypt was known for occultism. There was a time Satan moved his seat to Jerusalem. I just want to establish that God has a seat Satan has a seat as well.

In 1 Samuel 20:25 the Bible says, “And the king sat upon his seat, as at other times, even upon a seat by the wall: and Jonathan arose, and Abner sat by Saul’s, side and David’s place was empty”. Every time you fail to be where you ought to be, your seat will be empty. Not only was his seat empty, his place was empty also. The king had a seat and sat on it. In Psalm 1:1, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, not sitteth in the seat of the scornful”. The scornful has a seat also. Matt. 23:2 says “Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat”. Moses has a seat. Have your own seat and that your seat nobody should sit on it. Therefore brethren, anybody sitting on your seat must vacate. You are not yet whom you ought to be because somebody else is sitting on your seat. Anybody threatening your seat must vacate. You are ready to seat on your seat, to be whom God wants you to be. Every occultic man, native doctor or big man sitting on your seat must vacate now. It is your seat; your name is written there; that position belongs to you. Therefore, command them to vacate your seat and that you are ready to sit on your seat. Any spirit, any power sitting on my seat I command you to vacate and be removed now.

Secondly, limiting your limitations, consciously invite your destiny helpers, you cannot fight this battle alone, you need help to achieve your destiny. He is somewhere and wherever he is, he must be summoned. In 2Kings 5:2-3, “And the Syrians have gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid and she waited on Naaman’s wife. And she said unto her mistress, would God my Lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria for he would recover him of his leprosy”. You have struggled and nothing seems to be working for you but wherever you are and you are in God’s will, God is promoting you. No matter how many sticks they threw at you, it is because there is something in you they wanted.

Something they thought is best for them, something they don’t want you to have. But this little maid was comfortable enough because of the disposition of her heart and believed she was heading toward her destiny in spite of he fact that she was a captive. But in the real sense of it she was not a captive. She was only transported to where her destiny is, to where she will shine like a star and be recognized. For where she used to be, nobody knew her. This maid’s confidence lifted her to the house of Naaman and her boldness made her to walk to the wife of Naaman and said, “I have seen your husband has leprosy, how I wish your husband is in Israel, there is a prophet there that would have healed him”.

And this girl must be a girl that has integrity otherwise Naaman’s wife would not have listened to her. That is why we must stand our ground and be who we ought to be. God allowed that situation for a reason. Who knows where Naaman would have been if he had fine limbs. But God has no limitation; for captivity was no limitation to this girl and she made her suggestion as a destiny- helper.

She said, “I have seen Naaman, he is a good man and has treated me well”. If they did not treat her well, she would have swallowed her information. That is why it is good not to kill your enemy, for someday, somehow, she may be the person God will choose to become your destiny helper. And the wife took that suggestion to her husband and Naaman believed it. “Naaman you are a good man but you are leprouse. That was a limitation.

Then he met Elijah and Elijah did not come out to see him not because he slited him but it is not these days that prophets, many Pastors nowadays go to kings, politicians, to beg for money. Naaman was on his own because what Elijah was carrying was greater than what Naaman was carrying. “He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world”. Though Elijah may not have had much money in his pocket, but what Elijah had was greater because Elijah was an embodiment of blessing and can command blessing upon Naaman.

So Elijah told his servant to tell Naaman to dip himself seven times in river Jordan but Naaman felt insulted, “Are the rivers of Syrians not better than the rivers in Israel, let him go to hell”. And his wise servant came in, as a destiny helper, “Master you took the pain to come here, a long journey, with its risk, is it only to dip yourself in the water seven times that is a problem?”. So Naaman reasoned with him because he was a good man. Good men reason and he went, one, nothing happened, two, nothing also happened. Many of us miss our blessings because we don’t have the patience to wait for it and continue. “Don’t be weary in well doing for in due time you shall reap if you faint not”. After the third and the forth times, he should have quit but because he was determined. “We don’t walk by sight, we walk by faith”. Five, nothing and six, nothing. If he had stopped there, that would have been the end.
